If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, this policy explains your rights and our obligations regarding returns and refunds.
Words with capitalised initial letters have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions apply whether the terms appear in singular or plural.
Definitions

• Goods refer to physical products offered for sale, including lace fabrics, lace accessories, garments, and related items.
• Custom Goods refer to products made to order, exclusive patterns, or client-specific designs.
• Services refer to non-physical offerings such as lace pattern development, consultations, or bespoke design services.
• Orders mean a request by you to purchase goods or Services from Us.
• Website refers to Austrianlace, accessible at www.austrianlace.com.
• You refer to the individual or legal entity purchasing from the website.
You have the right to cancel an order for standard (non-custom) Goods within 14 days of receiving them, without giving any reason.
The cancellation period expires 14 days from the date you receive the goods, or when a third party appointed by you (excluding the courier) takes possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us clearly by:

Once approved, refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods, using the original payment method, at no extra cost to you.
• Goods must be purchased within the last 14 days
• Goods must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition
• Original packaging, labels, and seals must be intact
In line with FCCPA provisions and industry best practices, the following cannot be returned or refunded:
• Custom or personalised items, including exclusive lace patterns or made-to-order designs
• Cut lace fabrics, altered fabrics, or fabrics sold by length once cut
• Services already rendered, including completed design or consultation services
• Items unfit for return due to hygiene or health reasons once unsealed
• Goods damaged due to misuse, improper handling, or wear after delivery
If you receive Goods that are defective, damaged, or not as described, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.
In such cases, and in compliance with the FCCPA, you may be entitled to:
• A replacement
• A repair
• A partial or full refund
This determination will be made after inspection.
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning Goods unless the return is due to our error. Returns should be sent to: 299 Old Abeokuta motor road, opposite Vetland School, Agege, Lagos State.
We recommend using a trackable and insured delivery service. Refunds cannot be processed without receipt of the returned Goods or valid proof of delivery.
The proof of payment must be a payment paid into the company account.
If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit upon return.
If the item was not marked as a gift, refunds will be issued to the original purchaser.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA), 2018, which guarantees fair treatment, quality products, and remedies for defective or misleading goods and services.
